About the role:

The Clinical Program Manager, Field Based Services shares responsibility for the quality and effectiveness of field-based programs by ensuring compliance with internal and external regulation standards. This position ensures all administrative and operational responsibilities in the programs are performing effectively and at their optimum capacity. Manages and directs programs to ensure effective personnel, contractual and organizational management decisions are implemented. Provides direct leadership and management to the clinical staff in field-based programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership and direction to the Field Based Program by ensuring they meet or exceed contractual performance goals; ensures the quality and quantity of all program services being provided including delivery of services in accordance with contracted timeframes and funding (budget) parameters, including but not limited to supervision, coordination and management to assigned service teams.
  • Works with management team to develop realistic and measurable objectives for Field Based Services programs; establishes and assigns work plans; reviews status and progress of plans to ensure progress is on schedule; modifies schedules or plans as needed.
  • Assists in tracking, measuring and evaluating Field Based Services program outcome data.
  • Ensures continuity of care for clients in programs.
  • Promotes and establishes an atmosphere of continuous quality improvement throughout the department with motivation, coaching and staff development and/or revision of program policies and procedures.
  • Manages and collaboratively works with the other key management staff and Chief Financial Officer to develop program budgets and ensures expenditures comply with approved budgets; monitors and evaluates budget issues and recommends corrective action.
  • Responsible for directly and indirectly managing staff members within program. Performs conflict-resolution, presents employee commendations, conducts problem solving and implements progressive disciplinary actions appropriate to agency policies and procedures.
  • Conducts regularly scheduled staff meetings to communicate issues regarding compliance with established procedures and overall work unit productivity and effectiveness.
  • Identifies program staff training needs and meets needs of program staff by ensuring implementation of training/ administrative supervision sessions that address needs; participates in delivering training sessions related to clinical/program needs, and licensing and supervision requirements; monitors results of training to ensure these are meeting organization goals.
  • Performs managerial duties including interviewing applicants for employment; conducts performance appraisals; and develops higher levels of expertise in staff.

Requirements:

LCSW/LMFT and several years of experience working with seriously emotionally disturbed children and adolescents and their families in a field-based program.

Prefer: Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) and 2 years post licensure

Pay scale is $75,000- $85,000
